The structure of LVDT Position Sensor HL-3-100-15 is composed of a coil component and an iron core. During installation, the coil assembly is fixed on the bracket, and the iron core is fixed on the object at the measured position. The coil assembly is composed of three coils of steel wire wound on the hollow shape to form a cylindrical shape, allowing the iron core to slide freely.
The sensor housing HL-3-100-15 is sealed with stainless steel, and the inner coil is a primary coil, which is excited by an AC power source. The magnetic flux generated by the primary coil is coupled to two secondary coils, and an AC voltage is generated in each coil.
Due to the gap between the core of the LVDT Position Sensor HL-3-100-15 and the inner wall of the coil, the core does not come into contact with the coil during movement and there is no friction loss. At the same time, excellent production processes are adopted to solidify the skeleton and enameled wire into one, without any faults such as breakage or cracking. In combination with other optimization designs, the service life of the HL-3-100-15 sensor can theoretically be unlimited. According to testing by a foreign institution, the MTBF of this type of sensor can reach 300000 hours, and its actual normal use can reach several decades. Most of its faults are caused by human factors or are determined by the lifespan of the transmitter circuit components.
