Introducing AD Change Card AC6682 For Generator Excitation System

The AD card AC6682 is an analog-to-digital conversion card used in the excitation system of power plants. It is a data acquisition device responsible for converting analog signals into digital signals.

The application of AD conversion card AC6682 in excitation system is mainly for high-precision monitoring and control of key analog signals during generator operation, such as voltage, current, etc. These signals reflect the operating status of the generator and are crucial for ensuring its stable operation and protection system. Through the AD card, the excitation system can collect real-time analog signals such as generator excitation voltage, excitation current, and generator outlet voltage, and convert these analog signals into digital signals, which are then sent to the computer or controller for processing and analysis. In this way, the control system can accurately adjust the excitation current based on these digital information to respond to changes in the demand of the power grid, maintain voltage stability of the generator, participate in reactive voltage regulation of the power system, and static stability control of the generator.

 

The AD conversion card AC6682 has the characteristics of high resolution, high sampling rate, and low noise to adapt to the rapidly changing and high-precision signal processing requirements in the power system.

AD conversion card AC6682 has the following features:

  • Resolution and sampling rate: This AD card has a 12 bit analog-to-digital conversion resolution, which means it can divide analog signals into 4096 (2 ^ 12) quantization levels, providing a more delicate signal measurement accuracy. Meanwhile, its sampling rate is as high as 1MHz, which means it can collect 1 million samples per second, making it suitable for real-time capture and analysis of high-speed signals.
  • Number of input channels: It is configured with 32 single ended input channels, which allows the card to collect data from 32 different signal sources simultaneously, making it very suitable for application scenarios that require a large amount of parallel data collection, such as multi-point temperature monitoring, voltage monitoring, etc.
  • Input voltage range: It supports three standard input voltage ranges, including 5V, 10V and ± 5V. This design enables the AD card to adapt to a variety of different signal levels, meet the input requirements of different sensors or devices, and increase its versatility.
  • Data storage and sampling length: Supports data storage sampling, with a maximum sampling length of 1024K points, which means it can record up to 1024000 samples of data at once. This is very useful for long-term data recording or analyzing signals with longer cycles.
  • Switching input: In addition to analog signal acquisition, this AD card also integrates 24 programmable switching inputs, which can be used to monitor digital status signals, such as equipment status, alarm signals, etc., further expanding its application range.
