Attention of Wiring the LVDT Displacement Sensor TDZ-1-50

The LVDT displacement sensor TDZ-1-50 is composed of an iron core, a coil, and a housing. It measures the displacement of the iron core through the principle that the change in voltage is linearly proportional to the displacement of the iron core.

The outgoing wires of TDZ-1-50 LVDT sensor is a three core armored shielded cable. One end of the shielding layer is grounded and the other end is suspended. The length of the lead wire can be customized and processed according to customer needs, with a maximum length of up to 50 meters.

In order to ensure the normal operation of position sensor TDZ-1-50, it is best to achieve the following points in daily operation:

Regularly check the fixation of the iron core and bracket to ensure reliable connection and no looseness.
Regularly check the tightness of LVDT signal wire terminals, as well as the shielding and wear of signal wires.
Measure the coil resistance and shell insulation during each shutdown.
Do not connect 24Vdc to the 0V of the sensor and simultaneously connect 0V to the signal output point, as doing so may cause the sensor to burn out.
Please do not directly connect the analog input negative pole of the controller to the 0V or ground wire in the device. Only the 0V (orange white) wire of the sensor can be connected separately.
