The HL type displacement sensor has two types of leads, six wire and three wire. Users can choose which type of lead to use according to the requirements of the control system design. Of course, the wiring method can be changed.

Take the LVDT sensor HL-6-200-15 as example, which is a six wire type LVDT. In general, if you want to replace the LVDT HL-6-200-15 with a three wire LVDT (such as HL-3-200-15), the wiring method is different, and you need to pay attention to the following points:

• Six wire LVDT HL-6-200-15: The six wire LVDT consists of three coils. Each coil has two wires, totaling six wires. When wiring, it is necessary to connect the two wires of the three coils to the three input terminals of the measuring instrument, while the three common grounding wires are connected to the grounding terminal of the measuring instrument.
• Three wire LVDT HL-3-200-15: The three wire LVDT only has one coil, including three wires. When wiring, it is necessary to connect three wires to the three input terminals of the measuring instrument.

If you need to replace the current LVDT sensors, please carefully read the equipment manual and wire according to the wiring method in the manual. At the same time, it is recommended that you communicate and confirm with the equipment manufacturer or professional technical personnel before replacement to avoid incorrect connections and damage to the equipment.
