The globe throttle check valve LJC50-1.6P is a spare part of the hydrogen cooling system of the generator in the thermal power plant. Its function is to control the cooling water flow of the generator and avoid water backflow, so as to prevent the generator set from being damaged by water hammer after shutdown.

Its structure is similar to globe valve, but there are many differences between the two types of valves:

• Different functions: regular globe valves are mainly used to control the switching of fluids to realize the opening and closing control of fluids. The stop throttle check valve LJC50-1.6P can not only realize the opening and closing control of the fluid, but also has the functions of throttling and check. It restricts fluid flow, reduces pressure drop, and acts as a check in the event of fluid backflow.
• Different structures: globe valves usually use a disc or plate to control the fluid switching. The globe check valve LJC50-1.6P adopts a multi-stage throttle structure, which can adjust the flow rate by controlling the opening and closing degree of the throttle regulator, and is equipped with a device with a check function.
• Throttle function: throttle check valve LJC50-1.6P also has a throttling function, which can control the cross-sectional area of the fluid passing through the valve by adjusting the opening of the throttle regulator to achieve the purpose of regulating flow and pressure. Other regular globe valves have no throttling function, and can only realize the opening and closing control of the fluid.
