In order to smoothly regulate the system pressure and store energy, both the high-pressure and low-pressure systems of the steam turbine are equipped with different accumulators. According to the pressure, flow, and regulation requirements of the steam turbine system, the distribution principle is as follows:
1. High pressure accumulators: located behind the HP casing of the steam turbine, it can serve as a compensation device for the high-pressure system and can also maintain the operation of the steam turbine and avoid shutdown by conveying stored high-pressure air to the high-pressure cylinder when the load of the steam turbine suddenly decreases.
2. Intermediate pressure accumulator: Located in the IP casing of the steam turbine, it is generally divided into a primary intermediate pressure accumulator and a secondary intermediate pressure accumulator. When the load of the steam turbine changes significantly, the intermediate pressure accumulator can play a buffering role and balance the pressure changes of the intermediate pressure cylinder.
3. Low pressure accumulator: located behind the low-pressure casing of the steam turbine, such as the bladder accumulator NXQ-A-1.6/20-H-HT, is mainly used to regulate the pressure of the low-pressure system of the steam turbine, control the speed of the steam turbine, and ensure the stable operation of the unit.
