Differential Pressure Switch CS-111 Protects the Double Filter in Lubrication Oil System

1. Working principle of differential pressure switch CS-111

The differential pressure switch CS-111 is designed based on the principle of fluid dynamics and realizes automatic control by monitoring the pressure difference changes on both sides of the duplex filter. Its core components include valve body, piston, spring and travel switch. When the lubricating oil passes through the filter, impurities are intercepted to form a pressure difference:

Initial state: The lubricating oil flows into the main filter and the backup filter at the same time, and the differential pressure switch connects the two filter outlets through a pipe.

Pressure difference accumulation: The main filter is blocked, causing the outlet pressure to drop. When the differential pressure switch detects that the pressure difference exceeds the set value, the piston overcomes the spring force and moves, triggering the contact closure.

Automatic switching: The contact signal is transmitted to the control system, driving the conversion valve to switch the lubricating oil flow to the spare filter, and at the same time, an audible and visual alarm is issued to prompt maintenance.

Reset cycle: After the spare filter has been used for a period of time, the pressure difference increases again, the piston moves in the opposite direction to trigger the contact to disconnect, the system returns to the initial state, and a cycle is completed.

 

2. Pressure difference control logic in the double filter system

The double filter system achieves seamless switching through the continuous flow conversion valve, and the pressure difference switch CS-111 plays the role of “decision-making center” in this process:

Pressure difference threshold setting: The pressure difference threshold is set according to parameters such as lubricating oil viscosity and filter accuracy. For example, the NAS 1638 level specified in the ISO 4406 standard corresponds to different pressure difference ranges.

Dynamic balance mechanism: The system pressure difference is maintained stable through the reciprocating motion of the piston to avoid oil pump overload or interlock shutdown due to sudden changes in pressure difference.

Safety redundancy design: Combined with the limit device of the conversion valve, it prevents oil circuit blockage caused by misoperation.

 

3. Technical advantages of CS-111

High-precision monitoring: stainless steel springs and seals are used, the pressure difference measurement accuracy reaches ±1.5%FS, and the response time is <100ms.

Multi-scenario adaptation: supports general type, sound and light alarm type and other configurations to meet the needs of different industrial environments.

Intelligent expansion: through 4-20mA analog signal output, it can be connected to the DCS system for remote monitoring and data analysis.
