Ensure the Tightness After Replacing Backwash Filter ZCL-1-450

Ensure the Tightness After Replacing Backwash Filter ZCL-1-450

In the steam turbine jacking device, the automatic backwash filter ZCL-1-450 plays an important role in filtering impurities in the jacking oil, ensuring the cleanliness of the oil, reducing equipment wear, and ensuring the stable operation of the system. After replacing the filter element, strict sealing inspection and pressure testing are crucial steps to ensure that the newly installed filter element can withstand the working pressure and there is no leakage, thereby maintaining the efficiency and safety of the entire hydraulic system. The following is a detailed inspection and testing process.

1. Preparation
Tool and material preparation: Make sure you have the right seals, lubricating oil, pressure testing equipment (such as pressure gauges, pressure pumps), leak detection agents, cleaning cloths and necessary tools.

Safety measures: Wear personal protective equipment such as safety glasses and gloves. Ensure that the work area is well ventilated and that necessary isolation operations have been performed to prevent accidental startup of the equipment.

2. Filter element installation and preliminary inspection
Filter element installation: Follow the installation guide provided by the manufacturer to accurately install the new filter element and ensure that all fasteners are properly tightened, but avoid over-tightening to damage the seal.

Preliminary appearance inspection: Check whether there are any foreign objects at the interface between the filter element and the housing, confirm that the sealing ring is intact and the installation position is correct.

3. Sealing inspection
Manual inspection: Initially gently twist the joint by hand to confirm that there is no looseness, then apply a leak detector to the connection between the filter element and the housing to observe whether there are bubbles to determine whether there is a small leak.

Air tightness test: Use dry and oil-free compressed air to initially pressurize the system to 70%-80% of the operating pressure and maintain it for a period of time. Use a leak detector again to check all sealing parts to confirm that there is no sign of leakage.

4. Pressure test
Gradually pressurize: Use a pressure pump to gradually increase the pressure to the maximum working pressure designed for the system, pay attention to the pressure gauge reading, and ensure that the pressure is stable and does not exceed the safety limit.

Pressure stabilization observation: Maintain the maximum working pressure for a period of time (usually 15-30 minutes), during which time carefully check all connections, pay special attention to the filter element installation point, and confirm that there is no leakage.

Record and evaluation: Record all data during the pressure test, including the starting pressure, final pressure, and pressure fluctuations during the pressure stabilization period, and evaluate whether the sealing performance of the filter element meets the requirements.

5. Post-test processing
Pressure relief and inspection: After completing the pressure test, slowly release the system pressure to zero, check the filter element and surrounding area again to confirm that there is no leakage caused by sudden pressure changes.

Cleaning and resetting: Wipe the traces of leak detection agent and other stains with a clean cloth to ensure the system is clean, and reset all safety devices and isolation measures.

Through the above rigorous inspection and testing process, not only can the newly replaced automatic backwash filter ZCL-1-450 seal be ensured to be leak-free, but also potential system hazards can be discovered and eliminated in advance, laying a solid foundation for the reliable operation of the turbine top shaft device.
