F-grade epoxy laminated glass cloth tube DECJ0908: core material of generator set insulation system

As a high-performance insulating tube, F-grade epoxy laminated glass cloth tube DECJ0908 has become the preferred insulating material for stator windings, rotor supports and connecting parts of large generator sets due to its excellent heat resistance, mechanical strength and electrical properties.

 

F-grade high-strength laminated glass fiber board DECJ0907 uses alkali-free glass fiber cloth as the reinforcing base material, impregnated with F-grade (heat-resistant 155℃) epoxy resin glue, and cured by vacuum pressure impregnation (VPI) and high-temperature molding process. Its core process features include:

1. Reinforcement material selection: ECR (corrosion resistant) glass fiber cloth with a fiber content of ≥65% is used to give the material excellent tensile strength (longitudinal ≥300 MPa) and bending resistance;

2. Resin system optimization: High temperature curing agent (such as anhydride) and nano-alumina filler are added to epoxy resin to improve thermal stability (glass transition temperature Tg≥130℃);

3. Process control: The segmented curing process (80℃ pre-curing → 150℃ final curing) ensures that the resin is fully cross-linked and the internal porosity is <0.5%.

 

Typical applications in generator sets

1. Stator winding insulation sleeve:

As an insulation barrier between the stator copper bar and the iron core, DECJ0908 can withstand an operating voltage of more than 15 kV and a temperature rise environment of 150℃ when the stator is running. Its low dielectric loss (tanδ<0.02) characteristics can reduce eddy current losses and improve power generation efficiency.

 

2. Rotor end fixing ring:

Under high-speed rotation (3000 rpm) conditions, the high shear strength of the material (≥60 MPa) can effectively suppress the displacement of the end winding and prevent short-circuit faults caused by insulation wear.

 

3. Lead wire insulation protection:

A double-layer heat shrink tubing structure (DECJ0908 inner layer + silicone rubber outer layer) is used to resist high humidity (≤95% RH) and salt spray corrosion at the generator outlet.

1. Heat resistance breakthrough:

Compared with traditional Class B (130℃) insulation materials, the temperature resistance level of DECJ0908 is increased by 20%, allowing the generator to operate under higher loads, and the single-unit capacity can be increased by 10%-15%.

 

2. Environmental aging resistance:

Passed the double 85 test (85℃/85% RH, 1000 hours), the material surface has no cracks, and the resistivity drop rate is less than 5%, which is suitable for high-corrosion environments such as coastal power plants.

 

3. Life cycle economy:

Taking a 1000 MW thermal power unit as an example, the maintenance period of the stator insulation system using DECJ0908 is extended to 12 years (8 years for conventional materials), and the life cycle operation and maintenance cost is reduced by about 30%.
