Material composition and manufacturing process

F-grade high-strength laminated glass fiber board DECJ0902 is based on electronic grade alkali-free glass fiber cloth and impregnated with high-quality epoxy resin. Alkali-free glass fiber cloth has excellent insulation properties, high mechanical strength and good chemical stability, and can effectively resist the erosion of the external environment. Epoxy resin gives the board excellent adhesion, so that during the lamination process, each layer of glass fiber cloth is closely combined to form a solid whole. During manufacturing, the glass fiber cloth impregnated with epoxy resin is stacked layer by layer according to a specific process and hot-pressed under high temperature and high pressure. This process allows the epoxy resin to fully cure, further improving the performance of the board and ensuring that it has stable and excellent characteristics.

Key performance characteristics

(I) Excellent electrical insulation performance

DECJ0902 has extremely high insulation resistance, and its volume resistivity is usually greater than 10¹³Ω・cm, which can effectively prevent current leakage and prevent electrical faults such as short circuits. Its dielectric strength is also excellent, and it can withstand higher voltages without being broken down. It can still maintain stable insulation performance under high voltage environments, providing reliable electrical isolation for the safe operation of generators.

(II) High mechanical strength

The mechanical strength of the board is extremely excellent, with a tensile strength of ≥200MPa, and some products can even reach a higher level. This enables it to withstand mechanical stress, vibration and possible external force impact during the operation of the generator, and is not prone to deformation, cracking and other damage, ensuring the integrity of the insulation structure and extending its service life.

(III) Good heat resistance

As a Class F insulating material, DECJ0902 has a heat resistance level of 155℃. Application in power plant generators

(I) Coil insulation

The coil of the generator is the core component for generating electrical energy, and has extremely high insulation requirements. F-grade high-strength laminated glass fiber board DECJ0902 can be made into the insulation skeleton and insulation partition of the coil, which effectively isolates the coil from other parts to prevent leakage, and provides mechanical support for the coil to ensure its stable operation under the action of electromagnetic force.

(II) Slot wedge

Used to fix the coil in the stator slot of the generator, the slot wedge made of DECJ0902 has good mechanical strength and insulation performance. (III) Insulation support
