The coupling cushion ALD320-20X2 of the long shaft lubricating oil pump is a buffer element that can withstand radial and axial errors between the pump shaft and the motor shaft. It is made of elastic materials and is of great significance in maintaining the coaxiality between the pump shaft and the motor shaft, reducing vibration and noise, and improving system stability.

Elastic blocks play the following roles in couplings:

1. Absorb the radial and axial deviation between the pump shaft and the motor shaft: The elastic block can effectively absorb the slight deviation between the pump shaft and the motor shaft during operation, maintain good concentricity between the pump shaft and the motor shaft, and reduce bearing wear and vibration.

2. Reduce impact and noise: Elastic blocks can effectively reduce the impact force generated by the pump shaft and motor shaft during starting, stopping, and running, reducing noise propagation.

3. Compensating for axial expansion caused by temperature changes: During pump operation, the pump shaft and motor shaft will experience varying degrees of expansion due to temperature changes. Elastic blocks can compensate for this axial expansion and ensure the coaxiality between the pump shaft and the motor shaft.

4. Improve system stability: Elastic blocks can improve the coordination performance between pump shaft and motor shaft, enhance the stability and operating life of the entire system.

5. Overload protection: The elastic block has a certain overload protection function. When the pump shaft is subjected to excessive radial load, the elastic block is prone to deformation, thereby protecting the pump shaft and motor shaft from overload damage.
