The method of measuring speed using the SZCB-02 sensor is not actually complicated. There is a toothed disc at the front end of the steam turbine rotor, and when the high teeth on the toothed disc sweep through the speed sensor, pulse current will be generated. Then, the program in the speed monitor can measure the speed based on the number of high teeth in a circle and the number of pulses recorded by the counter.

What algorithm is used to calculate the actual speed of the steam turbine? Generally, the two out of three logical method is used. Subtract the rotor speed values of the speed sensor measurement points on the same turbine rotor to obtain a pairwise comparison deviation, and then compare the deviation with the threshold to obtain the actual speed signal judgment result using the two out of three logic method.

If it is determined that there is a malfunction in the speed signal, the actual speed value of the previous sampling period before the malfunction will be assigned to the speed setting value. During the period from determining the fault of the speed signal to troubleshooting, the set value of this speed is input as the set value of the speed regulator, and the actual speed signal value of the previous sampling period is taken as the regulated input of the regulator. It is possible to maintain the output of the regulator unchanged and the inlet steam volume unchanged, and the turbine is in the maintenance stage.
