The bimetal thermometer WTY-1021 is a device that uses the deformation of two metal strips with different coefficients of thermal expansion to measure temperature changes. It consists of bimetal strips, a sealed casing, a transmission mechanism, and a dial.

When the bimetal thermometer WTY-1021 is exposed to different temperature environments, the two metal strips, due to their different coefficients of thermal expansion, will deform in different ways under the influence of different thermal expansion rates. This deformation causes the bimetal strips to bend or twist, resulting in the rotation or movement of the transmission mechanism. There is a specific relationship between the amount of rotation or movement and the temperature change.

The working principle of the thermometer WTY-1021 is based on this relationship. By measuring the rotation or displacement of the transmission mechanism, the temperature change can be determined and displayed on the pointer or digital display. By adding oil-like fluid inside the housing, the damping of the transmission components and the pointer can be increased, reducing vibration and friction, and improving the stability and accuracy of temperature measurement.
