The working principle of the steam turbine speed sensor ZS-04-75-5000 is based on electromagnetic induction effect and adopts non-contact measurement method. When using, a gear should be installed on the shaft of the measured speed, and the sensor should be installed on the bracket. Adjust the gap between the sensor and the top of the gear to be 1mm.

There is a coil at the front end of the sensor. When the shaft rotates and drives the gear to rotate, a pulse signal is generated at both ends of the internal coil of the sensor. One revolution of the shaft generates a voltage pulse signal. When the number of gear teeth is 60, the speed of the shaft can be measured by converting each minute of revolution into a voltage pulse signal of frequency and sending this signal to the HZQW-03A rotational speed monitor.

The smaller the gap between the sensor and the detection gear, the lower the rotational speed that can be measured, usually ranging from 0.5 to 1.2mm. It is recommended to use involute gears for detecting the tooth shape of gears; It is recommended to use a gear disc with a modulus of ≥ 2 and a tooth top width of more than 2mm for detecting the size of the gear. The material used for detecting gears is strong magnetic material.
