1. Turbine rotor axial displacement monitoring: By installing it at the bearing seat or shaft seal at both ends of the turbine, the 5000TD-XC3 can monitor the axial displacement of the rotor in real time, which is crucial to prevent collisions between the rotor and stationary parts. Abnormal increase in axial displacement may be a sign of rotor imbalance, bearing wear or sudden changes in steam conditions. Timely detection and measures can avoid serious mechanical damage.

 

2. Cylinder expansion monitoring: During the operation of the turbine, high-temperature steam will cause the cylinder to expand. The 5000TD-XC3 can be used to monitor the expansion of the cylinder relative to the base or fixed structure to ensure that the expansion is within the design allowable range, avoid stress concentration or seal failure caused by uneven expansion, and thus ensure the integrity of the turbine structure.

3. Valve position monitoring: In addition to the oil motor stroke, 5000TD-XC3 can also be used to monitor the opening and closing positions of the main steam valve, regulating valve and other important valves of the steam turbine to ensure that the valve action is accurate and responds to the control system command in a timely manner, which is extremely critical for regulating steam flow, maintaining turbine load and preventing abnormal operating conditions such as overspeed.

 

4. Vibration monitoring: In some applications, through a specially designed installation method, 5000TD-XC3 can be used indirectly to monitor the vibration level of the steam turbine and its key components.
