The stroke displacement of the turbine actuator is driven by internal hydraulic pressure. When hydraulic or pneumatic pressure acts on components such as pistons or valves, they will force them to move linearly, resulting in stroke displacement. The stroke displacement of a steam turbine is usually a precise measurement within a small displacement range. The stroke displacement of a actuator  is the linear motion distance of components such as pistons or valves, usually within the range of a few millimeters to several tens of millimeters.

The TDZ-1B-02 actuator travel sensor is a linear variable differential sensor that converts mechanical measurements of linear motion into electrical energy. A major characteristic of this type of sensor is that the larger its range, the lower its linearity. When the accuracy of the sensor decreases to a certain extent, the measurement loses its significance. Therefore, LVDT displacement sensors are suitable for precise measurement of small displacements and are rarely used for large-scale displacement measurements.
