The main task of the fire resistant oil system of the steam turbine is to provide qualified lubrication and cooling oil for the support bearings, thrust bearings, turning gear, etc. of the steam turbine generator set. The importance of bearings is self-evident, and in order to protect them, it is necessary to keep the oil clean. In the fire resistant oil system, a hydraulic oil filter element MSF04S-01 is installed. It is made of high-quality stainless steel and fiberglass materials, with a stable structure that is not easily deformed during use. The product has corrosion resistance characteristics and uses fluororubber as sealing material, suitable for high-temperature and high-pressure condition of steam turbine EH oil.
To ensure that the precision filter MSF04S-01 meets the technical requirements of the steam turbine, it can be inspected from the following aspects.
High temperature tolerance test: By placing the EH oil filter element in a high-temperature environment, observe whether it can withstand high temperatures without deformation or damage. A thermal cycle test can be conducted, which involves placing the EH oil filter element in a high-temperature environment multiple times, and observing whether its appearance and size have changed to determine whether it has high-temperature resistance.
High pressure capacity inspection: By placing the oil filter MSF04S-01 in a high-pressure environment, observe whether it can normally accommodate oil flow under high pressure without rupture or leakage. Pressure testing can be conducted to circulate high-pressure oil into the EH oil filter element, checking its sealing and pressure capacity.
Filtration accuracy test: Use a standard particle solution or particle tester to evaluate the filtration accuracy of filter MSF04S-01. The quantity and size of particulate matter in the filtrate should comply with the manufacturer’s standards.
Long service life and reliability inspection: After a certain period of actual use of the filter element, the degree of blockage and the wear and tear of the filter element material can be observed. Pressure drop testing can also be conducted to evaluate the lifespan and reliability of the EH oil filter MSF04S-01 by measuring the pressure drop changes during oil flow.
