Tool and material preparation: Select appropriate tools according to the specific installation method of the valve seat to ensure that the old valve seat can be safely removed without damaging the valve body. Cleaning tools, sealing materials, lubricants, measuring tools, etc. must also be prepared.

 

1. Removal of the old valve seat:
- First, record the current position of the solenoid valve (if applicable) for subsequent recovery.
- Use special tools to gently loosen and remove the screws or pins that fix the valve seat, taking care not to damage the threads or the surface of the valve body.
- Slowly remove the old valve seat, while checking whether there is any residue or damage inside the valve body, and clean or repair it if necessary.

2. Inspection and preparation:
- Check the wear of the old valve seat and evaluate the cause of damage as a reference for future maintenance.
- Check the dimensions of the new valve seat to ensure that it matches the old valve seat perfectly to avoid installation errors.
- Use a detergent and a dust-free cloth to clean the valve body mounting surface to remove all dust, grease and residues to ensure that the sealing surface is clean.

 

3. Install the new valve seat:
- Apply an appropriate amount of lubricant to the contact surface of the new valve seat, but be careful not to use too much to avoid affecting the sealing performance.
- Carefully align the new valve seat and slowly press or screw it in to ensure that it is aligned and not deflected.
- Use a standard torque wrench to tighten the fixing screws according to the torque value recommended by the manufacturer to avoid over-tightening or over-loosening.

4. Sealing performance test:
- After installation, perform a preliminary sealing test. For some applications, it may be necessary to use a special air tightness or water pressure test to verify.
- After confirming that there is no leakage, gradually restore the power and medium supply of the solenoid valve and observe the performance in the initial operation.
