B52555RK201K001 is a button type filter element used on G761 series servo valves. It is used to prevent impurities in the hydraulic oil from entering the servo valve to ensure normal operation of the valve. Changing the filter element of the servo valve is usually part of regular maintenance.

The following are some indications that the servo valve filter elements may need to be replaced:

Pressure drop increase: If you notice an increase in pressure drop in the servo valve system, it may indicate that the filter element has accumulated sufficient impurities to affect the normal flow of fluid. This is a common indicator that filter elements need to be replaced.

Flow rate drop: when the filter element is contaminated or blocked, the flow rate of fluid through the filter element may slow, causing the system flow rate to drop. If you observe reduced system performance, it may be time to change the filter cartridge.

Noise Increase: A blocked filter element may cause noise as fluid passes through the system. If you hear different noises than usual, it may be because the filter element needs to be replaced.

Temperature Rise: Blockage of the filter element may also result in increased fluid temperature in the system. If you observe an abnormal temperature rise, it may be because the filter element is no longer effective.

System failure or instability: Excessive contamination of the filter element may cause instability of the servo valve system, or even failure. If you encounter an abnormal or frequent system failure, consider checking the condition of the filter cartridge.
