In the stator cooling water system of the generator, the main water filter is used to filter the cooling water entering the system to maintain the cleanliness and normal operation of the cooling water circulation system. The Primary water filter KLS-150T/60 is usually installed on the water supply pipeline of the cooling water system. As the main filtering device, it can effectively filter out solid particles, impurities, and precipitates in the cooling water.

When replacing the filter element KLS-150T/60 of the main water filter, it is recommended to install the operating instructions provided by the manufacturer for operation. There are also general operating methods, and here Yoyik summarizes several basic steps for replacing filter elements as follows:

1. Preparation: Close the inlet valve of the main water filter and discharge the pressure and residual water in the pipeline.

2. Disassemble the filter element: Open the filter cartridge according to the connection method of the filter element KLS-150T/60, and then remove the old filter element from the cartridge.

3. Clean the filter cartridge: Check if there are any deposits or impurities inside the filter cartridge. If necessary, clean it to ensure that the inside of the filter cartridge is clean.

4. Install a new filter element: Insert the new filter element KLS-150T/60 into the filter cartridge, ensure that the filter element is well sealed with the housing, and then rotate the filter cartridge back into place or tighten the fixing screws.

5. Enable: Open the inlet valve of the main water filter to allow water flow to pass through the new filter element. Check if there is any water leakage at the connection of the KLS-150T/60 filter element, and adjust or reinstall it if necessary.
