It is necessary to use a standard CQJ type nitrogen charging tool with a pressure gauge on it to ensure that the charging pressure meets the requirements of the accumulator.

When inflating, connect one end of the CQJ nitrogen charging tool to the nitrogen cylinder and the other end to the accumulator. First, open the valve nozzle of the nitrogen cylinder and check the pressure inside the cylinder. Then, slowly screw in the handwheel of the nitrogen charging tool by hand and open the one-way valve of the accumulator’s gas nozzle. At this point, the pressure on the pressure gauge begins to decrease, indicating that nitrogen has entered the accumulator until the rated pressure is reached. First exit the handwheel and then close the nitrogen cylinder.

Generally, an inflation safety valve should be installed on the accumulator component to prevent the nitrogen inside the accumulator from being too high due to the influence of oil pressure. For example, the accumulator NXQA.25/31.5 has an inflation pressure of 20MPA and a system working pressure of 25MPA. When the oil pressure fills the accumulator, it will compress the bladder, and the pressure of the bladder will increase to over 20MPA. At this time, the safety valve will start to release pressure according to the set pressure value.
