Solenoid valve AST-021-230M|220VDC is a key actuator in the high-pressure shutoff system (AST), dedicated to the safety control of the EH (electro-hydraulic control) system of the power plant turbine. This model uses a DC 220V drive, meets the industrial-grade explosion-proof and fire-resistant oil compatibility requirements, and its core function is to achieve rapid shutdown protection of the unit.

 

The Solenoid valve AST-021-230M|220VDC adopts a pilot structure and consists of a solenoid coil, a valve core, a return spring and a sealing component. The valve body is usually made of stainless steel or alloy steel, and the internal channel design meets the flow requirements of high-pressure fire-resistant oil (such as phosphate ester). When the unit triggers a protection signal (such as overspeed, excessive vibration, etc.), the solenoid valve loses power instantly, and the valve core switches to the pressure relief position under the action of the spring, quickly releasing the EH oil pressure and triggering the valve to close for emergency shutdown.

 

Technical features

1. High-pressure adaptability: The working pressure range covers 12-24MPa, and the tolerance to instantaneous pressure shock reaches 35MPa;

2. Fast response: The action time is ≤50ms, ensuring that the protection system is triggered in milliseconds;

3. Redundant design: It is usually configured as a 4-valve series-parallel structure, and a single valve failure does not affect the overall function of the system;

4. Environmental compatibility: The sealing material is made of fluororubber or polytetrafluoroethylene, which can withstand the corrosion of anti-fuel oil and high temperature of 120℃;

5. Maintenance interface: Integrated manual test device, supporting online functional testing without affecting the operation of the unit.

 

Key points of application

- Installation specification: The oil pipeline must be strictly aligned to avoid mechanical stress causing valve body deformation;

- Periodic testing: Perform dynamic tests of the solenoid valve according to the maintenance procedures (such as monthly inspections) to verify the reliability of the action;

- Fault diagnosis: Abnormal jamming is mostly caused by excessive oil particle size, and the cleanliness of EH oil (within NAS level 6) needs to be monitored.
