Check the liquid discharge of the replenishment system to ensure uniform liquid distribution. For the problem of bias flow caused by the resin dry column, the air in the bed can be discharged by reverse liquid inlet or backwashing, so that the resin can settle naturally before forward liquid inlet treatment. In addition, it is also necessary to avoid the formation of bubbles or eddies above the resin bed to reduce the scouring and wear of the resin.

Adjust the feed conditions:

According to the changes in the impurity components in the EH oil, the feed conditions should be adjusted in time. For example, when the concentration of the target ion in the oil increases, the adsorption flow rate can be appropriately reduced to extend the contact time between the resin and the oil; when the number of interfering ions increases, it is possible to consider using a more selective resin or adjusting the regeneration agent formula to improve the treatment effect.

For the resin contamination problem, appropriate removal measures should be taken according to the nature of the contaminants. For example, for suspended matter pollution, the number and time of backwashing can be increased to remove impurities accumulated in the resin bed; for grease pollution, NaOH solution of appropriate concentration can be used for cleaning; for iron ion pollution, hydrochloric acid solution can be used for regeneration. In addition, the filtration pretreatment of the raw liquid should be strengthened to prevent pollutants from entering the resin bed.
