Thermo Gauge WSS-581W is mainly composed of a multilayer metal sheet which is laminated by two or more metal sheets. An instrument that can automatically and continuously record changes. In order to improve the temperature measurement sensitivity, the metal sheet is usually made into a spiral coil shape. When the temperature of the multi-layer metal sheet changes, the expansion or contraction of each layer of metal is unequal, which makes the spiral roll up or loosen. Since one end of the spiral coil is fixed and the other end is connected with a freely rotating pointer, the body change of the two metals is different when the temperature changes, so bending will occur. One end is fixed, and the other end is displaced with temperature change. The displacement is close to linear relationship with air temperature. The self-recording system is composed of a self-recording clock and a self-recording pen. The self-recording pen is connected to the amplification lever and is operated by the sensing element. Therefore, when the bimetallic sheet senses the temperature change, the pointer can indicate the temperature on a circular scale. The temperature measurement range of this instrument is 200~650 ℃, which is allowed to be about 1% of the two passes of the scale. The thermometer is similar to the rod like liquid glass thermometer in use, but can be used under the condition of higher strength requirements.

WSS-581 thermometer is a field instrument for measuring medium and low temperature. Bimetal thermometer can directly measure the temperature of liquid, steam and gas medium in the range of - 80 ℃~+500 ℃ in various production processes.

Installation requirements

For the installation of bimetallic thermometer, attention should be paid to the accuracy of temperature measurement, safety and convenience of maintenance, without affecting equipment operation and production operation. To meet the above requirements, the following points should be paid attention to when selecting the installation position and insertion depth of thermal resistance:

1. In order to ensure sufficient heat exchange between the measuring end of the thermal resistance and the measured medium, the measuring point position shall be reasonably selected, and the thermal resistance shall not be installed near the dead corner of valves, elbows, pipes and equipment as far as possible

2. Thermal resistance with protective sleeve has heat transfer and heat dissipation loss. To reduce measurement error, thermocouple and thermal resistance should have enough insertion depth.
