Thermocouple WRN2-230 is a temperature measurement element whose working principle is based on the Seebeck effect. When two conductors of different compositions (such as nickel-chromium and nickel-silicon) are welded at both ends to form a loop, one end is the measuring end (hot end) and the other end is the reference end (cold end). When there is a temperature difference between the measuring end and the reference end, a thermoelectric potential will be generated in the loop. By connecting the display instrument, the thermoelectric potential can be converted into the corresponding temperature value. The thermoelectric potential of the thermocouple is related to the conductor material and the temperature difference between the two ends, but has nothing to do with the length and diameter of the thermoelectrode.
