Tube oil cooler YL-289 is a vertical or horizontal Tube oil cooler designed for power plant steam turbine lubricating oil system. It can also be extended to fans, coal mills, water pumps and ship power equipment lubricating oil cooling. Its core function is to control the oil temperature through efficient heat exchange, ensure the stable operation of the hydraulic and lubrication systems under continuous high-pressure conditions, and avoid problems such as aging of sealing components and insufficient oil pressure caused by increased oil temperature.
Tube oil cooler YL-289 adopts a shell-and-tube heat exchange structure. The oil flows through the shell side (the swirl guide plate guides the tangential swirl flow), and the cooling water flows through the tube side. Through the optimized design of the swirl guide plate, the laminar flow on the oil side is effectively disturbed, which improves the contact efficiency between the oil and the heat exchange tube wall, thereby significantly reducing the thermal resistance on the oil side (the thermal resistance accounts for more than 90% of the total thermal resistance). The heat exchange tube material can be selected from copper, stainless steel or brass to meet the compatibility and corrosion resistance requirements of different media.
The cooler adopts an innovative shell and tube structure design:
1. Heat exchange unit: built-in HSN70-1 naval brass tube or SUS304/SUS316L stainless steel tube bundle, flexible selection according to the corrosiveness of the medium, withstanding the maximum oil temperature of 120℃, and pressure level covering 1.6-2.5MPa;
2. Sealing system: lateral flange bolt connection with multi-layer metal spiral wound gasket to achieve axial dynamic sealing compensation, leakage rate less than 0.01%;
3. Process optimization: double-pass cooling water circuit design, with bow-shaped baffles to enhance turbulence effect, improve heat exchange efficiency by 15% compared with traditional structures;
4. Maintenance characteristics: removable end cover and split tube bundle layout, support online mechanical cleaning and single tube replacement, reduce downtime maintenance time.

1. Industrial scenarios:
- Steam turbine oil system: synchronous cooling of rotor journal conduction heat and lubricating oil friction heat
- Hydraulic station circulation cooling: suitable for 46# anti-wear hydraulic oil, phosphate ester and other media
- Extended applications: wind power gearbox lubricating oil cooling, rolling mill bearing lubrication system
2. Operation specifications:
- Air tightness test must be performed before startup (0.4MPa nitrogen pressure for 30 minutes)
- Cooling water pipelines must be drained during winter shutdown to prevent low-temperature freezing and cracking
- It is recommended to check the scaling of the tube bundle every 2000 hours and use 5% citric acid solution for circulation cleaning
3. Fault diagnosis:
- Abnormal increase in oil temperature: Check for insufficient cooling water flow, tube bundle blockage or baffle shedding
- Oil-water mixed pollution: Prioritize the inspection of cracks at the expansion joint of the tube sheet or failure of the sealing gasket
