Wiring Requirements for DF9032 MaxA Thermal Expansion Monitor

The DF9032 MaxA thermal expansion monitor (dual channel) from Yoyik has been widely used in the power, petroleum, and chemical industries, and is also considered one of the classic instruments for steam turbines. It is very stable in terms of signal interference prevention design, important chip control, and data measurement accuracy, allowing users to purchase and use with confidence.

After the instrument arrives on site, the user needs to wire it themselves. Yoyik reminds us to pay attention to the following points when wiring the heat expansion monitor DF9032 MaxA:

1. The connection between the monitor DF9032 MaxA and the Thermal Expansion Sensor TD-2 should use shielded cable. The shielding layer should not be broke, nor should it be casually grounded or short-circuited with the casing. Good insulation should be maintained. When introducing wiring strips, special shielding layer wiring terminals should be left.

2. The ground terminal of the monitor AC power supply must be reliably connected to the ground.

3. Sensor and monitor connecting cables, instrument AC power cables, or other strong current circuit cables should not be placed in parallel for long distances, especially in the same conduit.

4. When installing sensors on high-power motors or generators, it is recommended to use non-metallic brackets to isolate the sensor from the casing and reduce interference.

5. The contact output of the instrument relay should be used to control the intermediate relay, which then controls the load instead of directly controlling the load through the internal relay of the instrument.
