Working Method of 2YV Ejection Oil Solenoid Valve

The oil injection solenoid valve 2YV is used in the steam turbine oil injection test device. Due to the fact that the mechanical overspeed of the steam turbine is composed of springs and flying hammers in its protective action circuit, in order to prevent rusting and jamming of the flying hammers during unit operation, regular oil injection tests are required to ensure the correct and reliable operation of the mechanical overspeed protection.

Principle of steam turbine oil injection test: Conduct oil injection test (oil injection pressure test) when the unit speed is 3000r/min. Move the test lever to the “test” position (left side) and hold it still.

At this point, the mechanical overspeed and manual trip oil drain ports are closed, and the injection oil solenoid valve 2YV is slowly opened to inject pressure oil into the bottom of the eccentric flying hammer of the mechanical overspeed protection device. When the sum of pressure oil and centrifugal force exceeds the spring force, the flying hammer strikes and hits the hook, causing the emergency trip spool valve to act and reset the oil pressure to zero.

Due to the blockage of the oil discharge port by the test slide valve, the oil pressure of the diaphragm valve remained unchanged, and the unit was still able to maintain 3000r/min. After the test is completed, close the test valve, and after re-hooking, reset the oil pressure to normal. The test slide valve can be released and turned to the normal position.
