Oil Analysis and Maintenance Guidance for YXHZ-B25 Oil Station Filter

Oil Analysis and Maintenance Guidance for YXHZ-B25 Oil Station Filter

In the fan hydraulic system, the hydraulic oil station filter YXHZ-B25 assumes the vital filtering responsibility to ensure the cleanliness of the oil and protect the system from contaminants. Regular oil analysis is a key step in evaluating the status of the filter element and predicting maintenance needs. Today, follow Yoyik to learn which oil indicators are most critical to judging the status of the filter element and how to use this data to guide the maintenance plan of the filter element.

Key indicators of hydraulic oil

Particle count: Particle count directly reflects the level of solid contaminants in the oil and is a direct indicator for evaluating the filtering effect of the filter element. As the filter element is used for a longer time, its filtration efficiency may decrease, resulting in an increase in particulate matter in the oil. When the particle count exceeds the specified standard, it indicates that the filter element may have reached saturation or there is a bypass, and the filter element needs to be replaced in time to avoid particulate matter from causing wear on the system.

Moisture: Moisture is an invisible killer in the hydraulic system, which will promote oil aging, reduce lubrication performance, and may cause corrosion. Although the YXHZ-B25 filter element cannot directly filter moisture, the change in moisture content indirectly reflects the maintenance status of the oil and the sealing of the system. High moisture content indicates the need to increase system drying or replace the filter element with better water resistance, and check and repair system leaks.

Acid value: Acid value is an indicator of the degree of oil oxidation. Oil oxidation will generate acidic substances, accelerate oil aging, and corrode system components. An increase in acid value means that oil aging is accelerated, and the filter element may have retained more oxidation products during the filtration process. At this time, in addition to replacing the filter element, it is also necessary to consider replacing or regenerating the oil.

Viscosity: Although it is not an indicator that directly reflects the status of the filter element, changes in viscosity indicate changes in oil quality and affect the efficiency of the hydraulic system. Abnormal viscosity changes may require checking whether the filter element is seriously contaminated and affecting the fluidity of the oil, and adjusting or replacing the filter element in time.

Use data to guide filter maintenance plans

First, establish baseline values for key indicators such as cleanliness, moisture, and acid value through initial oil analysis. Subsequently, perform regular monitoring according to the manufacturer’s recommended cycle or based on system operating conditions.

Compare previous oil analysis reports and pay attention to the trend changes of various indicators rather than single data points. Trend analysis can more accurately reveal the pattern of filter element performance attenuation and oil degradation.

Based on system requirements and past experience, set warning thresholds for various indicators. Once they approach or exceed the thresholds, the filter element inspection or replacement procedure is initiated.

According to the feedback of the oil analysis results, the filter element replacement frequency is flexibly adjusted, and preventive replacement strategies are adopted when necessary to avoid system failures caused by filter element failure.

Combine the oil analysis data with other maintenance data (such as filter element pressure difference and system operating parameters) for comprehensive analysis to identify and solve the fundamental problems in the system, such as improving sealing and optimizing filtration solutions.
