When there is a temperature difference between the measuring end and the reference end, thermal current will be generated in the circuit. When connecting the display instrument, the instrument will indicate the temperature value corresponding to the thermoelectric electromotive force generated by the thermocouple. The thermoelectric EMF of armored thermocouple will increase with the temperature of the measuring end. The size of thermoelectric electromotive force is only related to the conductor material and the temperature difference at both ends of the armored thermocouple, and has nothing to do with the length and diameter of the thermoelectric electrode.
